ETIP PV is the European solar PV sector’s research representation to the European Commission. Its activities focus on the opportunities and challenges facing the European solar sector. They make recommendations with a view to improving the competitiveness of the European solar PV industry, gathering more than 200 experts covering the entire solar PV value chain.
SolarPower Europe is part of the Secretariat of the ETIP PV alongside WIP Renewable Energies. The Steering Committee is ETIP PV’s permanent decision-making body, and is composed of around 30 members who participate voluntarily, with the support of their respective organisations.
Specifically, membership applications are open to individuals from various backgrounds, including representatives from civil society, NGOs, the legal profession, and financial community. Steering Committee members commit to attending three or four meetings per year, held in different European locations. They are also expected to input substantially in written form to the Committee.
