The solar sector is creating more than a million job opportunities by the end of the decade. Installers, electricians, project managers, engineers, lawyers, asset managers, all will be needed in vast numbers to achieve the energy transition together.
At the Solar Jobs fair, job seekers will be able to interact with companies, training providers and professionals in the field, hear their stories, learn from their tips and hopefully get inspired to join the sector! This online event will be the perfect opportunity to learn more about the skills and qualifications required to work in the sector, what kind of positions are in demand and how to secure a meaningful job, at the heart of the transition.

#SolarWorksFair - How it works:
#SolarWorksFair is an online jobs fair, hosted on a digital platform, that enables job seekers and companies to instantly connect in a hassle-free way. It is a place for companies from the entire solar value chain to showcase their brand and attract new recruits. For jobs seekers, the #SolarWorksFair offers the opportunity to connect with talent recruiters and educators to better understand the wide variety of jobs in the solar sector. Moreover, job seekers can get insight into skills that are needed and advice on education and training options to enter the rapidly growing solar market.
The #SolarWorksFair is also a must-attend event for all companies active in solar looking to:
- Interact with job seekers on the online event platform

Solar Diversity Champion Awards 2023
The Solar Diversity Champion Awards, launched by SolarPower Europe in 2021, will return in 2023 to recognise organisations in the European solar sector that have made outstanding efforts towards achieving diversity and gender equality. The award aims to increase visibility and awareness around the importance of diversity and inclusivity in the solar sector, as well as to highlight successful initiatives and practices that can serve as shining examples for others.
The voting will take place at the #SolarWorksFair, on 16 November at 15:30-16:30.
