High-level Ukraine conference: How to unleash investments in decentralised energy solutions

This High-level Ukraine Conference will bring together Ukrainian and EU stakeholders to discuss how to facilitate investments in decentral renewable energy solutions in Ukraine. The conference will take place on 6 November, at the Representation of the State of Hesse in Brussels, and is supported by the Mission of Ukraine to the EU, SolarPowerEurope, the European Heating Industry (ehi), Viessmann Climate Solutions, and Helios Strategia.

The Conference will bring together Ukrainian and EU stakeholders to discuss how to facilitate investments in decentral renewable energy solutions in Ukraine.

 

SolarPower Europe CEO Walburga Hemetsberger will be speaking during the conference's first session: ‘Are the current market conditions suitable to attract investments in decentral energy solutions: macroeconomic conditions, market drivers, demand and policy framework’
 

Speakers in this session will include:

  • Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Yaroslav Demchenkov 
  • Mechthild Wörsdörfer, Deputy Deputy Director General, Energy, DG ENER, European Commission
  • MEP Michael Gahler, European Parliament Rapporteur on Ukraine file

  • Svetlana Mikhaylovska, Deputy Director, European Business Association 

 

The hybrid event will be streamed online and translated to Ukrainian.
