European Solar Day
Everywhere
On 21 June, the longest and brightest day of the year, we celebrate the second edition of European Solar Day. Let's come together to celebrate the transformative power and potential of the sun.
About European Solar Day
The European Solar Day is an exciting annual celebration that takes place on 21 June, the brightest and longest day of the year. It’s the summer solstice, or midsummer, and has been marked in Europe for thousands of years. This special day brings people together across Europe to celebrate and take action for a solar-powered future.
This is a collaborative initiative led by SolarPower Europe, working alongside a diverse range of organisations and associations throughout Europe. This year, SolarPower Europe joined forces with 54 cross-sector organisations to mark the day and raise awareness about the remarkable benefits of solar power.
Together, we are building a Solar School
This year, European Solar Day focuses on building a Solar School for everyone. Navigating a world in transition requires us to be equipped with the knowledge and tools to embrace the endless potential of solar energy and take control of our energy future.
Download our European Solar Day 2024 communications kit and join us in celebrating the transformative power of solar energy.
Remember to use our #EuropeanSolarDay hashtag to join the conversation and amplify our messages.
