We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated HR professional to join SolarPower Europe's team as an HR Business Partner.
Job responsibilities
Reporting to the COO, the HR Business Partner will lead the HR functions of the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
· Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with SolarPower Europe’s mission and growth.
· Nurturing a positive and productive working environment by promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being.
· Leading talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent in a competitive and dynamic environment.
· Designing and overseeing performance management systems that ensure high performance across teams, providing feedback and development opportunities.
· Identifying training and development needs, driving programmes that elevate team competencies and leadership capabilities.
· Enhancing HR policies and practices, drafting employee handbooks, and ensuring they reflect best practices and compliance with legal requirements.
· Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace.
· Ensuring compliance with Belgian labour laws, keeping the organisation informed about legislative changes.
· Strategically managing employee relations, addressing grievances and fostering effective communication between leadership and staff.
· Overseeing HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and other operational HR tasks.
Profile
The ideal candidate has the following professional profile:
· 5+ years of proven working experience in general HR management, ideally in a non-profit association.
· A strategic mindset with experience designing and implementing HR strategies that align with organisational goals.
· People-oriented and results-driven.
· Experience with running training programmes
· Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
· Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
· Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
· Excellent active listening, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
· In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
· Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field.
