Final vote on the Renewable Energy Directive

SolarPower Europe has issued the following statement on today's vote in the European Parliament Plenary Session, officially adopting the Renewable Energy Directive

“It's great that the RED has been adopted today in Strasbourg. It's been a long road to get there, and it offers solar deployment some real relief around permitting. Now we need to make sure we ensure implementation comes as quickly as possible. And can't forget this is happening in a context of an immediate crisis in the solar supply chain”
